Programmer or Rapist
Posted by admin at 10:32 am In the wise words of the British synthpop/New Wave group The Buggles, “Video killed the radio star.” Have truer words ever been said? I submit there have not. Before the invention of MTV and music videos, some of the best music came from some of the ugliest faces. In fact many of the best bands from the 70’s look like what would happen if Jim Henson’s nightmares got raped by Tim Burton’s daydreams. But no one cared because music is meant to be experienced by the ears, not the superficial, judgmental eyeballs.
